Document Controller
A document controller is a non-technical employee responsible for the handling of documents exchange and distribution of translation tasks among the competent stakeholders. He/she should have the following qualifications as a minimum:
  • University degree in one of the following fields: English, Commerce, IT, Information Technology, Science).
  • Excellent command of the Arabic & English languages.
  • Excellent command of MS Office & Internet research skills.
Translator
Highly qualified and competent translators are always welcome as a valuable asset at Smart Translation. If you feel you have the necessary skills and meet the minimum below requirements, feel free to contact us directly:
  • BA or MA in translation.
  • Excellent command of the English languages.
  • Excellent command of MS Office & Internet research skills.
  • Excellent skills in one or more of the following CAT tools: SDL TRADOS 2015 – MemoQ 2015 – Déjà vu X3.
  • Five years of experience.
Proofreader
Proofreaders play a key role in the quality assurance process and our work can never be perfect without their valuable contributions. If you feel you have the necessary skills and meet the minimum below requirements, feel free to contact us directly:
  • BA or MA in one or more of the six official languages of the UN (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish).
  • Excellent command of the English languages.
  • Excellent command of MS Office & Internet research skills.
  • Excellent skills in one or more of the following CAT tools: SDL TRADOS 2015 – MemoQ 2015 – Déjà vu X3.
  • Five years of experience in the field of proofreading and editing.
Operator
An operator is a person responsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing reason for calling, and resolving customer complaints by contacting appropriate person that can help the customer in a timely manner. To be selected for this position, you need to have the following qualifications and skills:
  • A university degree.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and advanced computer and organizational skills are essential.
  • The ability to multitask and understanding phone etiquette.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure can also prove valuable in this line of work.
